Amiga Games That Weren’t Update - Harold, Mystery Games, FLOWER and Dragon - December 29, 2008

After a long break, Amiga Games That Weren’t is back with four new entries!

  • Harold the Hairy Hermit is a platform game where the titular Harold must rescue puppies.
  • Four mystery games are curious screenshots that were found on the One Step Beyond disks.
  • FLOWER is a colourful clear-’em-up and platformer.
  • Dragon is a shoot-’em-up with some beat-’em-up elements.

The website has also been rejigged and generally updated to a new design by eLowar.

GTW64 Christmas update 2008 - December 23, 2008

Robotron 2084 - TI game uncovered! - December 21, 2008

After 25 years of being in the wilderness,  Robotron 2084 for the Texas Instruments machine has been uncovered by TI enthusiast Bryan Roppolo for the TI-99/4A Videogame House website.


A neat little conversion which can finally be savoured … be sure to check it out!… (Thanks to Fabrizio for the heads up!)

‘Zap’ unreleased BBC game - December 12, 2008

Jamie Woodhouse, of ‘Quak‘ fame on the Amiga and GBA, has recently started to dig out various unreleased games which he worked on and which have never seen the light of day until now.


One such game is ‘Zap‘, which is a great looking Star Force clone on the BBC.   For now you can check out the video clip above, but keep an eye out on http://blog.jamiewoodhouse.co.uk/ where the disk image will soon be released.
