Two long lost Rainbird titles have been released to celebrate the 5th anniversary of "The Bird Sanctuary" - A fantastic site which takes a look back at the history of Firebird, Silverbird and Rainbird and its various releases.

Richard Hewison (Who worked at Firebird back in the day) has carefully guided the website to where it is today, and following a recent redesign, the 5th anniversary provides firstly RAIL (Rainbird Adventure Implementation Language) for the IBM PC (An adventure construction kit) and also the unfinished EPT, which is an awesome looking Elite type game by Rainbird (This being probably the biggest finding for the site).

The guys over at No Mutants Allowed got their hands on the tech demo of Black Isle Studios’ Fallout 3 (a.k.a. "Van Buren") and released it to the public. It’s a pre-alpha with very limited gameplay and a lot of bugs, but still a must try for all Fallout fans!

(In case you don’t know, Black Isle Studios was working on Fallout 3 when the company was shut down in December 2003. A new Fallout 3 is currently being developed by Bethesda Softworks.)
